Franco Morbidelli

Of Brazilian origins but living in Tavullia, Franco Morbidelli (for his friends Franky or Morbido) is the most mature of the VR46 Riders Academy, the first to join and, above all, he was the first to win a Championship thanks to the incredible 2017 Moto 2 season. Franco started late in the racing world, at 19, and he entered directly in Moto 2. He was very talented and soon became one of leading riders (in 2016 he was on the podium eight times) and in 2017 he became World Champion, with 12 podiums and 6 pole positions. His path took him to MotoGP in 2018 and today he competes with Team Petronas Yamaha SRT. He is very precise and takes care of every detail. Few words and hard work, both at the gym and on the motorbike.
